My first job out of college was in Marketing Communications at WorldCom, a year before they bought MCI and seven years before former CEO Bernie Ebbers was convicted of accounting fraud. I've also served snoballs, waited tables, refinished antiques, worked at a library, freelanced as a technical writer, and taught freshman Composition, Introduction to the Humanities, and English as a Second Language in Kielce, Poland. I've been with Macmillan since 2005.
