Thinking Critically in the Writing Classroom
Join professor and author John O'Hara (Current Issues and Enduring Questions) for a timely webinar on the importance of critical thinking in the writing course. John's discussion will cover standards, metacognition and interpretation, and the value of critical thinking beyond the classroom. He will focus on examples that engage students--from the flying spaghetti monster to dog meat to Lincoln--and can be immediately used following the webinar.
