STEM Teaching Topics Webinar – OCT 22: Using Questions to Pique Curiosity on the First Day of Class
If we think about our own education, there are teachers, classes, and topics we remember well, and others that we have completely forgotten. In "Teaching that Sticks,” Chip and Dan Heath try to identify what makes some teaching “sticky.” One of the keys, they argue, is curiosity. If students are curious, they become engaged in what they are learning, and tend to remember what they learned long after a class is over.
