STEM Teaching Topics Webinar – JAN 28: A Conversation about Course-based Undergraduate Research
Undergraduates benefit in multiple ways from engaging in research. Course-based undergraduate research experiences (CUREs) can afford many more students from more diverse backgrounds access to research experiences as early as their first year in college. In this webinar, Erin Dolan and Gabriela Weaver, the authors of a new user-friendly guidebook for creating and implementing CUREs, will describe their book and their own experiences with developing and teaching with CUREs as well as helping other faculty do the same. This webinar will be of interest to faculty and staff in the natural sciences as well as administrators interested in making undergraduate research more accessible and inclusive.
