Department: Mathematics
School: Oklahoma State University
Product: Achieve for Rogawski's Calculus: Early Transcendentals, 4e
How do you use Achieve? I use Achieve as a coordinator of Calculus 1 and as an instructor. In my classes, I use Achieve for online homework only.
Any advice on using technology with students? Any educational technology must complement the learning goals of a course and be integrated into a system of course activities, resources, and expectations. Students need to recognize their use of any educational technology as a resource to support their learning and contribute to their success in a course.
If you integrate with an LMS, which LMS? I personally do not integrate, though several calculus instructors at OSU do integrate with our LMS (Canvas).
