Éva Szeli is a Professor of Psychology at Arizona State University in Tempe, Arizona, a position she came to after a clinical career and a law career, in which she contributed to mental disability policies abroad using international human rights law. She has taught courses on mental disability law at New York Law School, and in her current position focuses on core and advanced online courses for 150-500 students, taking special care to cultivate a sense of presence in class, despite engaging students through virtual means alone. She takes on a support role for her colleagues and researches the many intersections of law, disability rights, and psychology.
