Dr. Christopher Trimby is a faculty member in the Physiology department at the University of Delaware, teaching courses to 30-60 mostly out-of-state students. He employs a flipped classroom model for the Physiology course and teaches the Honors version of General Physiology and a Senior-level lab course in Physiology. Dr. Trimby's research interests focus on undergraduate learning, including assessing classroom activities and developing students' metacognitive skills. He also investigates the development of future science faculty as educators, exploring best practices in training and mentoring new science educators.
