Class Activity: Stress Management Strategies
Have students work together as they think about the strategies for managing stress. If your students could make only three recommendations to an incoming first-year college student about managing college stress, what would they be? Have students use their experience as well as what they have learned in this chapter to make recommendations. In groups of four, have students compare their lists with those of other students and try to come to a consensus on the three most important recommendations.
