I am an educator, writer, editor, proofreader, and photographer. I hold a Master of Arts in English Literature from Loyola Marymount University. I also hold an Associate of Arts and a Bachelor of Arts in History. I teach on-ground English courses at California State University, Los Angeles and East Los Angeles College. I also teach an online Literature course for Colorado Technical University. I was nominated for the Distinguished Faculty of the Year Award in 2017 from CTU. I have taught for the Los Angeles Community College District since 1997. I have taught online English courses for DeVry University as well as online Western Humanities courses for Langston University in Oklahoma. I am a freelance writer. I published a poetry collection called Love Adventure (with my wife, Anhthao Bui) in 2017. I published my first collection of short stories, called Mere Anarchy, in 2016. My fiction and nonfiction writing appear in the publications When Words Collide, Flash It, Daily Flash 2012, Daily Frights 2012, Silver Apples, The Daily Breeze, Easy Reader, Other Worlds, and Wrapped in Plastic. I have contributed to several gaming publications, including Autoduel Quarterly (Steve Jackson Games, Inc.), Grimtooth's Traps Lite (Flying Buffalo, Inc.), The Wurst of Grimtooth's Traps (Necromancer Games), Adversaries & Allies (White Silver Publishing, Inc.), Games Unplugged, The Gamer, and The Sorcerer's Scrolls. My poetry appears in the anthologies An Island of Egrets, Timeless Voices, and The Manuscripter Volume II. My poetry collection, Love and Other Diversions, is available through Amazon.com. I am the recipient of The Shakespeare Award for poetry from the City of Torrance, California.
